Alyse DiBenedetto, PsyD

Alyse DiBenedetto, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the psychotherapeutic treatment of a broad range of emotional issues in both young adults and adults. She also conducts couples counseling.

Alyse received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. She then continued on to receive her doctorate in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her prior experience includes doing research on Major Depressive Disorder at New York Presbyterian- Cornell Weill Medical Center funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. Later she co-authored a publication on the outcome of this work. Clinically, she worked at Gracie Square Hospital and Kings County Hospital. Her experience includes working with adolescents and adults both individually and within group settings. At Kings County Hospital she served as a supervising psychologist for psychology interns and externs in addition to psychiatric medical residents at SUNY Downstate. Overall her clinical experiences have included working with a myriad of illnesses including the following: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment Disorders and life difficulties.

Alyse began her private practice in New York City in 2007. Currently, she works as a psychologist in private practice in Red Bank, NJ addressing emotional issues including all depression and anxiety disorders, life transitions, relationship issues as well as trauma and divorce.
