Danielle Cooke LCSW

I’m Danielle Cooke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree from Fordham University and more than seven years of experience. I’ve worked in residential treatment, outpatient care, prison re-entry programs, and utilization review, giving me a broad perspective on the challenges people face throughout recovery and personal growth.

My path to social work was inspired by a deep belief in the strength of the human spirit. Early in my career, I saw how transformative therapy can be when people feel truly heard and supported. That experience drives me to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, heal from past wounds, and move toward the life they envision.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns. My work also extends to helping clients navigate mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy, offering tools to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and foster resilience.

What you can expect from our first session

In sessions, clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. My goal is to meet clients where they are, honor their experiences, and guide them toward meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable.

Whether you’re coping with unresolved trauma, struggling with anxiety, or seeking support through a difficult transition, I am here to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
